KHAZNAH STRATEGIES LTD. is a consulting and business development firm that advises corporate and public sector clients with a focus on Russia, the Caspian region and the Community of Independent States (CIS).

We help companies to identify and evaluate business opportunities in the post-Soviet region and build strategic partnerships with private and public players. Our primary specialization is in the natural resources industries, namely oil and gas, mining and metals, and some related fields, such as petrochemicals, hydrocarbon transportation and alternative energy. We also use our expertise and contacts to open business opportunities in other sectors.

An important element of our mission is facilitating co-operation between businesses in emerging markets (such as investors from the Middle East and Asia looking for partners in the CIS). We believe that cross-border investments between emerging economies will be the major driving force for post-crisis recovery and global economic growth.

Khaznah Strategies is a boutique consulting firm that adds value by providing advisory services that are specially tailored to the needs of our clients. We provide services in three main areas:

◊ Business origination and market entry. We help investors to develop a pipeline of potential acquisition targets and/or greenfield opportunities, evaluate specific projects, conduct due diligence, and liaise with shareholders and government agencies.

◊ M&A advisory and fundraising. Through our network of industry contacts, we help project owners and holders of exploration licences in finding investors for their projects; we also assist in deal execution for such transactions as mergers and full or partial sales of assets.

◊ Foreign direct investment promotion. We help emerging market governments in attracting foreign direct investors into specific projects and assist them in marketing, research and the development of public-private partnerships and free economic zones.
